Fremantle midfielder Nat Fyfe has been ruled out of Saturday's International Rules Test against Ireland with a shoulder injury.
The 2014 AFL Players' Association player of the year injured his right shoulder during a practice match against a team from the New South Wales Gaelic Athletic Association in Western Sydney on Tuesday.
"I've loved the experience over the last few days and meeting players from across the competition, and its incredibly disappointing to miss out," Fyfe said in an AFL statement.
Adding insult to injury, the 23-year-old was hurt in the last few minutes of the game.
"I dived for a mark and simply landed the wrong way and it didn't feel right," he said.
The team flies to Perth tonight for Saturday's showdown at Subiaco Oval.
