coach Paul McGregor changes for Dragons

ST GEORGE coach Paul McGregor conceded changes may be necessary after theDragons dismal showing against the Tigers at Campbelltown Stadium.
The Dragons lacked any real penetration in attack amassing only four points for the second week running and McGregor admitted he may have to tweak his line-up.
“Obviously with our structure we’ve got some really good ball players there with two international halves in Benji (Marshall) and Gaz (Widdop),” McGregor said.
“Duges (Dugan) is out at the moment but he’ll be back hopefully next week or the week after so we will obviously look at a few things there and might make some changes.”
Strangely McGregor admitted his star halves pairing were the catalyst for tweaking the sides attacking structure in the lead up to the Tigers loss.
“I thought our nought to 20 sets last week wasn’t good enough and the players wanted to play with the system a little bit there.
“We gave them ownership of that which is good, they wanted to change a few things.”
The changes did not have the desired effect however and the Dragons must now go back to the drawing board in a bid to spark both their attack and their season.
