Five things we learned from THE Tigers 22 - 4 Dragons
THE Tigers made it two wins from as many games, dominating a hapless Dragonsoutfit 22-4 at Campbelltown Stadium.
If he stays injury free, this will be James Tedesco’s year. The speedy fullback is all class but has been dogged by major injuries in recent seasons. He was the classiest player on the field.
It’s going to be a long season for the Dragons – in their two games they have shown nothing in attack and have been only marginally better in defence. Wooden spoon chance.
The Tigers – starting the season with two wins – are a real finals chance. But they need to be more clinical – they went down to the Dragons’ level in a woeful second half.
Aaron Woods has started the new season in superb form for the Tigers up front with an average of 200 running metres in his two games. Also improved his offloading skills.
The Dragons need to get Josh Dugan back on the field ASAP to give them some strike power in attack. Why did they sell Brett Morris again???
(Richards 2, Tedesco, Naiqama; Richards 3 goals) beat
