NINE PLAYERS CHARGED BY MATCH REVIEW COMMITTEE

A WHOPPING nine players have been charged so far following round one matches.
Eels forward Junior Paulo is facing seven to nine weeks on the sidelines after being slapped with a grade three dangerous throw on Manly hooker Matt Ballin.
Manly prop James Hasson has been hit with a grade 2 dangerous contact charge on Anthony Watmough and is looking at a three-match ban.
Bulldogs five-eighth Josh Reynolds is looking at two to three games after being charged with a grade one dangerous throw on Panthers fullback Matt Moylan.
Ben Lowe (grade one crusher tackle), Sione Mata’utia (grade one dangerous throw), Mitchell Moses (grade two careless high tackle), Johnthan Thurston(grade one tripping) and Jack Wighton (grade one striking) will all be free to play for their respective clubs if they take early guilty pleas.
Meanwhile, Broncos prop James Gavet will miss three games after taking the early guilty plea for a grade two shoulder charge on Issac Luke in last Thursday’s season opener.
