Roma beat Chelsea 3-0, Manchester United maintain perfect run: As it happened

Some unexpected results this time and top of that list is the 3-0 mauling that Chelsea suffered at the hands of Roma. Chelsea don’t have the best of records against Italian opposition and they are not in the best of spots at the moment but they were especially lacklustre in Rome. Manchester United, who Chelsea play over the weekend, made it four wins out of four in the Champions League as they beat Benfica 2-0 at home. Barcelona were held to a 0-0 draw while PSG thrashed Anderlecht 5-0. Chelsea can be happy from the fact that Atletico Madrid only managed a draw at Qarabag which means they remain in the driver’s seat, somewhat. Juventus could only manage a 1-1 draw against Sporting Lisbon while Bayern Munich saw off a valiant effort from Celtic and won 2-1.
