Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is enthusiastic about the prospect of bringing Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo back to England.
Chelsea have been alerted to Ronaldo's availability by intermediaries and there is now the prospect of Real offering the Portugal international as part of a deal for Eden Hazard.
Don Balon says such a proposal would suit both Real and Ronaldo, with the player angry over the lack of progress regarding a pay-rise he has been demanding for the past year.
Abramovich has now been informed Ronaldo is available - and a deal involving Hazard is a genuine prospect. The Russian billionaire has welcomed the development and has his marketing chiefs now crunching numbers over what Ronaldo's presence would do for their bottom line.
For his part, Hazard is continuing to put off new contract talks with Chelsea, which is only encouraging the interest of Real for this summer's market.
