BARCELONA star Lionel Messi has reportedly been left feeling betrayed after Juventus hitman Paulo Dybala expressed a desire to join Real Madrid.
Dybala has been tipped to reunite with Messi at Barcelona with his Juventus future shrouded in uncertainty.
The Argentina international has fallen down the pecking order in Turin and, with Gonzalo Higuain regularly getting the nod up top, a parting of the ways could be in the offing.
But Spanish outlet Diario Gol claim Messi has learned that Dybala has no intention of joining him at Barcelona.
Instead, the 24-year-old would supposedly prefer to play across town at Real Madrid.
Los Blancos are set to overhaul their squad after a wretched campaign under Zinedine Zidane.
The Frenchman is clinging to his job with their Champions League clash with PSG set to determine whether he stays in charge or not.
Regardless, Real will spend and, with top targets such as Harry Kane and Neymar unlikely to leave, Dybala has emerged as an alternative.
And Diario Gol say the player is desperate to strut his stuff at the Bernabeu.
It is said the Juventus star has told Messi he wants to play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo at Real.
Ronaldo has been tipped to leave with Manchester United, Chelsea and PSG all potential suitors.
But Dybala wants at least one year of playing alongside the 33-year-old before he leaves.
Speaking last month, Juventus chief Giuseppe Marotta outlined the Serie A giants’ desire to keep Dybala.
But he did admit he could leave if he wants.
"He is a very strong player that we rely on a lot," Marotta told Sky Italia.
"Dybala will undoubtedly remain at Juve because we do not need to sell anyone - unless the same player asks."
