AFL list changes: Every AFL club’s retirements and de-listings

ichmond hopes to re-draft Jacob Townsend but have left the door open for a rival to swoop.
The Tigers delisted Townsend, as well as Mabior Chol and Nathan Drummond, on Wednesday to finalise their list heading to November's drafts.
Townsend was a key part of the club's breakthrough premiership in 2017 but struggled with injury this year, playing 10 games and missing the finals campaign.
However, as a delisted free agent, Townsend is now free to explore his options and sign for a rival club.
“We would love for Jacob to remain at Richmond and he knows there is a spot for him at the club,” Tigers football manager Neil Balme told the club website.
"He is well within his rights as a delisted free agent to look for new opportunities and should they arise, we will support his decision."
Chol, 21, played one game after being drafted as a rookie in 2015 while Drummond, 23, managed five matches in four injury-ravaged years at Punt Rd after being drafted with pick No.52 in 2014.
However, the arguably the biggest shock was Gold Coast parting ways with Jarryd Lyons.
The former Adelaide Crow was traded to the Suns two years ago but fell out of favour with new coach Stuart Dew this year, being dropped several times.
“We added real depth to our midfield during the trade period and as a result Jarryd understands that his opportunities would be increasingly limited due to the additions of these players and our desire to play and develop the young midfield talent already on our list,” Suns list manager Craig Cameron told the club website.
“With that being the case, the club and Jarryd have had a mature discussion and agree that another club may offer him greater opportunity to play in the midfield in the future.
The Suns also delisted Jack Leslie but plan to re-rookie the defender.
On Tuesday, Will Langford's - the son of club great Chris - time as a Hawk came to and end the club delisted him.
Langford booted three goals, laid six tackles and had 21 disposals in the Hawks' premiership win over Sydney in 2014, but managed only six games in 2018.
“At the end of the season we sat down with Will to discuss his future," the club's general manager of football Graham Wright said.
"Will made it clear that he wanted to be a one club player and that if he wasn’t playing for the Hawks then he would prefer to move on to the next chapter in his life
“That being the case, we reached a mutual decision to delist Will and we wish him all the best in life outside of football.
“Will leaves the game as a premiership player, and we are incredibly grateful for his service to Hawthorn over the past eight years.”
The 25-year-old played 72 games for the Hawks and booted 24 goals.
Hawthorn has also delisted fan favourite Brendan Whitecross along with Kieran Lovell. Whitecross has been linked to a move back to his home state of Queensland, where he could join Brisbane or Gold Coast as a delisted free agent or via the pre-season or rookie drafts.
"Brendan has spent a long time at our footy club, having joined the Hawks in the 2007 draft. He is a life member and an amazing clubman," Hawthorn football manager Graham Wright said.
"Unfortunately for Brendan his career has been interrupted with injuries, however he has always shown great resilience and determination in the face of adversity. We are rapt that he was finally able to get some reward for all his hard work and finish his time at the Hawks with a VFL premiership.
"We wish Brendan, his wife Kelly and their family all the best for their next adventure."
