Stefanos Tsitsipas causes huge upset over Roger Federer

Stefanos Tsitsipas has earned the biggest win of his career with a four-set victory over two-time defending champion Roger Federer at the Australian Open 2019.
The 20-year-old world number 15 win the fourth round match with a 6-7(11) 7-6(3) 7-5 7-6(5) victory to send the 20-time grand slam champion home.
Amid the happiness and relief he felt, a childhood memory stood out for the Greek of when he spent hour upon hour watching footage of Federer playing, hoping to one day emulate the tennis great.
The flashback meant so much to the 20-year-old, as illustrated by his comment: "My idol today became pretty much my rival.
The result is already being viewed as a changing of the guard, as Tsitsipas - the reigning ATP Next Gen champion - goes one step further than his previous best grans slam result, which he achieved at Wimbledon last year and take out the Next Generation ATP Finals in Milan, beating Australia's Alex de Minaur in the decider, and claim the ATP most improved player of the year award.
"I'm the happiest man on earth right now," Tsitsipas said afterwards.
"I cannot describe it.
"Roger is a legend of the sport, so much respect for him. He showed such good tennis over the years and I've been analysing him since the age of six.
"It was a dream come true for me just being on Rod Laver and playing him. Winning at the end, I cannot describe it."
