Pep Guardiola has every confidence in Claudio Bravo

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has every confidence in Claudio Bravo after confirming he will be between the posts for Sunday's Premier League showdown with Liverpool.

First-choice shot-stopper Ederson was substituted at half-time in the midweek Champions League draw with Atalanta and has not recovered from the muscular problem, the City boss suggested.
Bravo replaced Ederson at the interval in the San Siro but picked up a straight red card with nine minutes to play, leaving full-back Kyle Walker to don the gloves.
There has been criticism of his display in midweek, but Guardiola says Bravo was not at fault, as he had to leave his penalty box when City squandered possession.

City are 4.00 to shut Liverpool out at Anfield on Sunday and their manager is calling for Bravo to be respected.
"He is an exceptional goalkeeper. He is an international goalkeeper. I have no doubts," said Guardiola.
"Why shouldn't I be confident about my players? I see him every day in training. We won't lose because of Claudio.
"The red card the other day was because we lost the ball. Respect the guy. He is a top keeper."
Man City trail Liverpool by six points and are priced at 2.62 to win on Sunday, though they are also expected to be missing playmaker David Silva.
Guardiola acknowledges the strength of Jurgen Klopp's side, now 1.80 to win the title, but he insists Manchester City have to relish the growing rivalry.
"I just want my team to fight to the end. Liverpool are a team that lost one game last season, none this season, so you cannot believe that they will lose many, but the season is long," he added.

"They do everything well. You see the team, what is the weak point? They are a real complete team and we need this kind of rival."
