NRL Round 10 Betting Tips

Thursday 16/7/20

7:50pm Sydney Roosters vs. Canberra Raiders @ SCG

The Roosters looked only average in the first half against the Cowboys last week, but they turned things around in the second half.
It was an absolute onslaught of tries from the Roosters, showing why they’re still the team to beat in 2020, despite injuries.
Canberra battled well against Melbourne but they never got into the game. Handling a rampant Roosters side could be tough.
Betting tip: Roosters –10.5 @ $1.90

6:00pm Melbourne Storm vs. Gold Coast Titans @ Sunshine Coast Stadium

The Titans did well to score a last-gasp win over the New Zealand Warriors, but this is a completely different task now.
They face the Melbourne Storm, who are coming off a top win over the Raiders. The six-point win was a professional display and the Titans aren’t a team that will provide much of a challenge.
Bookmakers have 17.5 points between them, however, so there could be a case for the Titans with the points.
Betting tip: Titans +17.5 @ $1.90

7:55pm Wests Tigers vs. Brisbane Broncos @ Leichhardt Oval

The Broncos win over the Bulldogs gave their coach a minor lifeline, but playing the Tigers won’t be an easy task this week.
Brisbane had lost their last six games prior to last week, and although the Tigers have been inconsistent this season, playing them at Leichhardt Oval is always tough.
We can’t confidently back the Broncos, so the Tigers get the nod on Friday night.
Betting tip: Tigers –5.5 @ $1.90

Saturday 18/7/20

3:00pm St George Dragons vs. Canterbury Bulldogs @ WIN Stadium

The Dragons turned it on against the Manly Sea Eagles on Sunday and that performance could kick-start their season.
It was a comprehensive display and Ben Hunt put the team on his back. More consistency is needed now but playing at WIN Stadium should help.
The Bulldogs looked flat against the Broncos and another loss looms.
Betting tip: Dragons –7.5 @ $1.90

5:30pm South Sydney Rabbitohs vs. Newcastle Knights @ Bankwest Stadium

The Knights put up a good fight against the Eels but they’re lacking something this season, which could continue to hurt them.
Mitchell Pearce was complaining to the ref when the Eels took a quick tap and scored a try. Newcastle’s leaders can be setting that example if they want to win consistently this season.
South Sydney did the job over the Tigers last week and despite their problems this season, they have looked the better side.
Betting tip: Rabbitohs to win @ $1.90

7:35pm Manly Sea Eagles vs. Parramatta Eels @ Lottoland

The Eagles were thrashed by the Dragons last Sunday and that doesn’t bode well for the rest of their season.
It especially doesn’t bode well as they face the Eels this Saturday. Parramatta is coming off a gritty performance over the Knights and they’ll derive good benefit from that.
They are one of the better sides in the competition and despite playing away from home, it’s tough to back the Sea Eagles with any confidence.
Betting tip: Eels –8.5 @ $1.90

Sunday 19/7/20

2:00pm New Zealand Warriors vs. Cronulla Sharks @ Central Coast Stadium

After leading 12-0 after 10 minutes, most punters expected the Warriors to win against the Titans. However, they crashed to a 16-12 loss and it was embarrassing.
A win could have seen the Warriors become a playoff team, but the loss puts them right back to square one.
It wasn’t any better for the Sharks, who were pounded by the Panthers but at least the Sharks looked good at times during the game.
It could be season over for the Warriors.
Betting tip: Sharks –8 @ $1.90

4:05pm Penrith Panthers vs. North Queensland Cowboys @ Panthers Stadium

Coming off an impressive win are the Panthers, who currently sit in second position on the ladder and look set to stay there.
They scored an emphatic win over the Sharks and facing the North Queensland Cowboys shouldn’t give them many problems.
Cleary and co are controlling the game beautifully, which makes the Panthers one of the teams to follow this season.
Betting tip: Panthers –13.5 @ $1.90
